Too much of something is always not a good thing (except for $$$... maybe, maybe not.. haha). Ginger is awesome, we all know that. But too much of ginger may be harmful to you. The keyword today is 'MODERATION'.


WHY IS TOO MUCH OF GINGER BAD FOR YOU?


1) It may caused heartburn, diarrhea, oral irritations, burping and upset stomach.


2) It can prevent blood-clotting in the circulatory system by preventing platelets to clump together. As advised by medical experts, individuals on any blood-thinning medications, such as aspirin or warfarin should avoid taking large doses of ginger.


3) Pregnant or nursing women are advised to take no more than one gram of the herb daily. This is sufficient to effectively treat the nausea without posing any health problems to your child.


Though ginger are known to be some form of 'super drug' due to it's many benefits, there are some dangers of using too much of ginger. In order to best avoid toxic side effects, try to consume ginger less than three times a day.


You may also consider consulting a health care professional or physicians on suitable amount to consume.
