Burdock Roots - One of the most detoxifying herbs.

Do you know what is a Burdock Root?

Scientifically known as Arctium Lappa, popularly known as Asgobo in Japan and locally known as Burdock Root 牛蒡, is a wild, easy growing plant which are found in Europe as well as in Asia. It is sweet to taste and has a gummy consistency.

Recipe for Burdock Roots Soup

Burdock root - about 10" Carrot - 2 sticks Chicken bones - 500 g Red dates - 10 pieces (medium size) Goji berries - 2 tbsp Water - 2 L

Method:

1. Scald chicken bones in boiling water to remove any scum that float into the surface.

2. In a separate pot, put all ingredients in a pot (including scalded chicken) and bring to boil.

3. Put fire on 'low' and let it simmer for 45-60 minutes.

4. Season to taste. Enjoy!
